STOCKBRIDGE - Henry County Police have arrested a man they think is responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed a police officer and sent a stranded motorist to the hospital.

Investigators say 43-year-old Ruben Marin-Garibay hit Henry County police officer Elgin Daniel and another man with his Ford pickup truck on Monday night, then kept going.
Marin-Garibay is being charged with vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, failure to maintain lane, and hit & run. He is currently detained at the Henry County Jail.
