MABLETON, Ga. -- Cobb Police have charged an unidentified female juvenile with murder after authorities discovered the corpse of a baby in the woods in Mableton Wednesday.
According to a police, the infant was found in a box buried under leaves behind an apartment complex near the 6600 block of Mableton Parkway. Police say the baby appeared to have been carried to full term.
The juvenile suspect was charged as an adult for felony murder, cruelty towards a child and concealing a death.
The Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
