ATLANTA -- Thousands of people journeyed to Centennial Olympic Park Sunday afternoon for the Final Four free concert series.

Sting and Dave Matthews Band were the headliners on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and evening.

By 7 p.m., Georgia World Congress Center officials closed access to the park, saying it had reached its capacity of 50,000.

Officials said visitors were welcome to stand along Marietta Street to enjoy the music.

"Centennial Olympic Park has reached capacity and the Georgia World Congress Center Authority has closed the park to new Big Dance attendees. Marietta Street is now a pedestrian zone, as well as one lane on Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the show from outside the gates," said an official statement from GWCC officials Sunday evening.
