The memorial outside Steven Diaz's home grows as police search for suspects.
FOREST PARK, Ga. -- Clayton County Police have arrested two suspects in the shooting death of 13-year-old boy Steven Diaz.
Police say 18-year-old Gilberto Gomez pulled the trigger. 18-year-old Sergio Alvear is also charged.
Police tell 11Alive one suspect admitted to the killing. Investigators say both suspects said the motive was to steal the truck because of the specialized doors it had, which are a similar style to a Lamborghini.
Police tell 11Alive they are still searching for a third suspect.
Meanwhile, people from across the community are showing support for the family. Tuesday people delivered food, money and other goods to comfort Diaz' family.
The shooting happened shortly before 11 p.m. Monday at the Bradford Ridge Apartments on Sylvia Drive in Forest Park.

Clayton County Police Officer Phong Nguyen said the victim, Steven Galindo Diaz, was helping his sister put air in the tire of her car when two suspects drove up and demanded keys and belongings.
The suspects stole the sister's necklace and tried to crank her car. When it wouldn't start, they began shooting, Nguyen said.
Diaz was hit by a bullet and later died at the hospital.
His football coach at Babb Middle School told 11Alive's Jerry Carnes the young man played like a giant.
"He gave his heart," the coach said. "He didn't back down to any challenge in practice, and he didn't back down in the classroom."
Friends say he loved sports, music and dressing up for Halloween. He talked to friends and family about joining the military or becoming a DJ.
Both suspects are still at large. Nguyen described them as Hispanic men driving a red SUV.
Anyone with information on this crime should contact CrimeStoppers at (404) 577-8477. CrimeStoppers are offering an, up to, $2000 reward for any tips that may lead to an arrest.
Funeral arrangements for Steven Diaz were announced on Wednesday. The visitation will be be held on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the Atlanta Mortuary Services at 3234 Dogwood Drive.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday at the Mission San Felipe de Jesus at 925 Conley Road in Forest Park. A time has not yet been announced.
