ATLANTA -- A child, who was struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon, has died.
The accident occurred on the 3000 block of Campbellton Road in southwest Atlanta. The child is believed to be about 3 years old.
Authorities say the child was hit by a small SUV while it was backing out of a parking spot. According to the driver, they were unable to see the child before hitting him.
The child was transported to Grady in critical condition where he later died.
No charges have been filed, at this time. No further details were immediately released.
