"Walking Dead' 911 tape reveals new details of on-set accident

SENOIA, Ga. -- A newly released 911 tape details the aftermath of an accident on the set of the popular 'Walking Dead' series in which an actor playing one of the show's zombies was run over by a "military vehicle."

According to the incident report, 20-year-old actor Garrett Zane Orr was run by a military vehicle when the brakes didn't function properly. 

A spokesperson for AMC's popular 'Walking Dead' show confirmed for 11Alive News that Orr was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

The spokesperson says the injuries were not life-threatening and that the production member was released from the hospital Monday.

'Walking Dead' depicts a world overrun by zombies. The popular show is currently filming its fourth season in Senoia, GA where it has spawned movie tours and become its own cottage industry.

The AMC spokesperson says filming has resumed and didn't think the accident would impact the upcoming season. 'Walking Dead' begins airing new episodes October 13th.
