AJC Peachtree Road Race lottery registration opens

ATLANTA -- It's time to sign up for the 2013 AJC Peachtree Road Race. Lottery registration for the Fourth of July 10K is now open. 

Runners who wish to be one of the race's 60,000 participants can register for the lottery any time before 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

Entrants will learn whether or not they were chosen via email on Monday, March 25.

Everyone who enters the lottery will have an equal chance of being selected, according to Atlanta Track Club executive director Tracey Russell.
