Calif. fugitive arrested in Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- A man suspected of trying to kill a family member in Los Angeles has been arrested in Cherokee County.

Raymond G. Berry, 50, was taken into custody in Woodstock Thursday night.

Bill L. Lewis with the FBI Los Angeles Field Office said Berry is accused of attempting to murder a family member after an argument on May 17, 2012. He fled California and was on the run until this week.

Berry is being held in the Cherokee County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to California.
