Fatal wreck closes I-285 eastbound

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -- A fatal wreck on Interstate 85 in College Park has closed all eastbound lanes at Old National Highway.

The incident happened at around 2 a.m. Friday.

College Park Police say a stranded motorist in the middle lane got out of the car and was struck and killed by one or more vehicles.

Expect the eastbound lanes to remain closed for some time. Motorists should avoid the area.
