ATLANTA -- Gwinnett County police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who fled a crash scene on foot near the Buford Highway Connector on Thursday afternoon.
According to Atlanta Police, the suspect was wanted in an armed robbery that happened in Gwinnett County, early Thursday.
Authorities spotted the suspect and chased him from North Gwinnett County to Cheshire Bridge Road until he crashed. The suspect fled the crash scene on foot and authorities are searching for him.
Police say the suspect is a black male, about six feet tall, wearing a white shirt and camouflage shorts.
Authorities on the scene plan to brief the media, shortly.
