Man found dead in Lawrenceville neighborhood

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Gwinnett County Police are investigating a homicide at near the Bridge Walk Drive and Oak Road in Lawrenceville. 

Around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday evening, detectives discovered a body located near a nearby tennis court. Police were patrolling the area after a "shots fired" call from the area. 

The body has been identified as a black male; possibly a teenager. The identity of the male is unknown at this time. 

No further information was immediately available.
