Man hospitalized after being shot in head

SNELLVILLE, GA. -- Authorities responded to a shooting in unincorporated Snellville Wednesday evening.

According to Gwinnett County Police, the shooting happened on the 4400 block of Raptor Place around 5 p.m. 

Authorities say they received a call from the victim reporting he had been shot in the head and an ambulance was dispatched to the location. 

The victim was transported to a local medical center where he is currently recovering. Investigators believe this shooting is the result of an argument.

A suspect has not been identified, at this time. No further information was immediately released.
